Anderson High GEAR UP Students attend Ignite Opportunity STEM Day

A group of 34 Anderson High School 9th grade students attended the Shasta County “Ignite Opportunity STEM Day” at the Redding Convention Center on Friday, January 30th.  They were all Anderson High School GEAR UP students and were recruited by their 9th grade science teachers. 

The event brought together almost 1,000 Shasta County 9th graders to learn about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
