The goal of Kinder College Day is to introduce students to the idea of college and career possibilities early in their academic careers, and to let parents and teachers know it is never too early to discuss those possibilities with children.
Groups of approximately 25 students rotate through interactive career stations from a variety of organizations and programs, Past organizations and programs have included Shasta County Sheriffs Department K-9 Team, Shasta Public Library, Redding Electric Utility, Shasta Regional Medical Center and the Bureau of Land Management.
