About Me:
I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, where I was homeschooled until my freshman year of high school. At that point, I began taking dual-enrollment classes at local community colleges, which helped me earn my bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno at just 19 years old.
After graduating, I headed to Siskiyou County to work as a summer camp counselor at Kidder Creek. Little did I know that the beauty of the area and the close-knit community would draw me in, and in 2023 I made Scott Valley my home.
Working with the next generation has always been a central part of my life. It has been the common thread throughout my education, work, and volunteer experiences. As an ETS Advisor, I hope to be a caring, encouraging, and dependable presence in my students’ lives. My favorite part of this role is learning about each student’s interests and helping them explore how those passions could become a meaningful career. It is a privilege to get to know these students, celebrate their strengths, and encourage them to pursue the future they envision for themselves, and if they don’t have all the answers yet, to hold space for that too!
